Telehealth lets you meet with a licensed healthcare provider virtually, by secure video, from your home or anywhere with an internet connection. After you schedule through our secure Carepatron system, you'll receive instructions to join your virtual visit at the scheduled time.

First Priority Clinic currently provides telehealth services to eligible patients located in Illinois. Care is provided by a licensed healthcare professional. Some conditions may not be appropriate for virtual care and may require in-person evaluation or referral.

Not at this time. First Priority Clinic currently offers telehealth services to eligible patients located in Illinois. We do not imply services are available nationwide, and availability depends on where the provider is licensed to practice.

How do I access the patient portal?

Our Patient Portal page links you to our secure external Carepatron portal, where you can manage appointments, messaging, and records. Visit the Patient Portal page to sign in or get help accessing your account.

Can I get a prescription through a virtual visit?

Prescriptions are considered only when clinically appropriate and after your provider has reviewed your health history and completed an evaluation. A prescription is never guaranteed. Some conditions may require laboratory testing, in-person care, or referral before a medication is considered.

Do you accept insurance?

We accept several major insurance plans, and a self-pay option is available. Insurance participation and patient benefits vary by individual plan, so you should contact First Priority Clinic or your insurance company to verify eligibility, coverage, copayments, and deductibles before receiving services.

We take patient privacy seriously and handle information in line with applicable legal requirements. General inquiries should not include private medical information. For appointment scheduling and protected health information, please use our secure Carepatron system.

What conditions can telehealth NOT treat?

Accepted Answer

Telehealth is not appropriate for emergencies or for some conditions that require a physical exam, laboratory testing, imaging, or in-person procedures. First Priority Clinic does not provide emergency medical services.

When should I seek emergency care instead?

Accepted Answer

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately. Emergencies include difficulty breathing, chest pain, severe bleeding, signs of stroke, suicidal thoughts, and other urgent or life-threatening situations.
